Candidating week will begin with the worship service on Sunday, May 3, and end shortly after the service the following Sunday, May 10, when the congregation votes on a motion to call the Reverend Allison Palm as our next settled minister. Many activities are planned, to give everyone at least one opportunity to meet and welcome Allison.

Sunday, May 3

10:00 — Sunday Service (Sanctuary)
11:30 to 12:15 — Deeper than Coffee (Fellowship Room)
12:15 — Congregational Meet and Greet with lunch. All are welcome. (Dining Room)
4:30 to 5:00 — Closed meeting with the Religious Education committee. (Room 7)
5:00 to 7:00 — Meet and Greet with dinner, focusing on youth, religious education, and spiritual development. Invited guests include OWL, ROPES, Religious Education, Rowley Study Group, Small Group Ministries, Spiritual Development, Young Adult Group, Youth Group, and others interested in religious education or spiritual development. All are welcome. (Dining Room)
7:00 to 8:00 — Meeting with Senior High Youth Group. (Youth Room)

Monday, May 4

12:00 to 1:30 — Closed lunch with the Personnel Committee. (Youth Room)
6:00 to 7:30 — Closed meeting and dinner focused on governance. Invited guests include members of the Board of Trustees, Leadership Development, and Stewardship. (location not yet determined)
7:30 to 9:00 — Closed meeting with the Board of Trustees. (location not yet determined)

Tuesday, May 5

11:30 to 3:30 — Closed lunch and one-on-one meetings with staff members. (Church offices)
6:30 to 7:00 — Closed meeting with the Pastoral Care Team. (Room 7)
7:00 to 9:00 — Meet and Greet, focusing on Community. Invited guests include hallway artists, Community Dinner, Denominational Connections, Membership, Non-Violent Communications, Pastoral Care, Public Relations, Restorative Circles, Right Relations, Simple Gifts, Social Activities, Social Justice, Sunday Outreach as well as anyone interested in community. Wednesday, May 6

9:30 to 11:00 — Tour of White Wing School. (closed)
11:30 to 1:00 — Bring your lunch and meet with Rev. Allison. All are welcome. (Dining Room)
5:00 to 6:00 — Closed meeting with the Worship Associates. (Room 7)
6:00 to 7:30 — Potluck Dinner Meet and Greet, focusing on worship. Invited guests include Buddhist Meditation, Choir, Music Committee, Reiki Drum Circle, Worship Associates, and anyone interested in worship. All are welcome. (Dining Room)
7:30 to 8:30 — Meeting with the choir, followed by choir rehearsal. (Chapel)

Thursday, May 7

10:30 to 1:30 — Meeting with area UU ministers (closed).
2:30 to 3:30 — Tea at The Huntington. Limited to invited residents. Update: The original version said “All are welcome.” However the room only holds 25, and 20 residents have been invited.
6:30 to 8:00 — Meet and Greet and church tour, focusing on property, grounds, and finance. Invited guests include A/V, Cemetery, Financial Records Review, Investment Review, Property, and anyone interested in property, grounds, and finance. All are welcome. (Update: Dining Room)
8:00 to 8:30 — Meeting with the Young Adult Group. (Youth Room)

Friday, May 8

Day — Personal time.
5:30 to 8:00 — Potluck Dinner and Games, sponsored by the Membership Team. All are welcome. (Dining Room)

Saturday, May 9

11:00 to noon — Hike in Greeley Park with Rev. Allison and Tristan. All are welcome. (meet at the Gazebo)
Noon to 2:30 — Potluck picnic at Greeley Park. All are welcome. (Gazebo)
Rest of day — Personal time.
