Rev. Allison Palm
Our candidate to be our next settled minister
The search committee is joyous in presenting the Reverend Allison Sarah Palm as our candidate to be the next settled minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua.
Allison was raised a Unitarian Universalist, dedicated at the UU fellowship in St. Cloud, Minnesota when she was just two. Entering her senior year of high school, she became interested in pursuing the ministry, which led her to earn a B.A. in religion from Boston University and her Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School.
Currently, Allison is the program assistant for the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association (UUMA). She also serves as the Affiliated Community Minister with Original Blessing, a new UU congregation in Brooklyn, New York.
You can read much more about Allison — her background, experience, sermons, and vision for ministry — at her website. And watch her greeting to us.
Next steps
Allison will be with us to candidate from Sunday, May 3, until the following Sunday, May 10. Immediately following the service on May 10, the members of the congregation will vote on the search committee's motion to call her as our next settled minister.
Before then, we're completing Allison's background check and working with her on the schedule for candidating week. We will publish the planned events as soon as they are finalized, so you can make plans to meet and welcome her.
We're thrilled and proud to stand on the threshold of a new chapter in the church's long history.
